Donald, Daisy, Tom & Jerry ... what have they become?

The characters of Walt Disney, created for the most part between 1930 and 1940 by the studios of the same name, cross the ages without taking a ride, at least on the screens ... Nevertheless, they display well 75 to 87 years on the counter in 2015! Based on this observation, Andrew Tarusov, an American illustrator of Russian origin, decided to draw the heroes of our childhood taking into account the effects of time. If Donald left his sailor suit for a much more casual look - open shirt and cigarette-billed - he lost a few centimeters and gained a walker. At 75, Daisy, she remains the pin-up of the series. She is still as primed even if she had to incorporate a new accessory to its fashionable outfit: crutches ... Tom (75 years old this year) is also suffering the ravages of time and no longer tries to catch Jerry. It would be futile, he could obviously no longer devour it ...

As for Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the first characters invented in 1928, they remain eternal lovers ... even if under the pencil of the illustrator, they are a little scary! To discover them (and all the others), go to the website of Andrew Tarusov, in his series of drawings entitled "Cartoon characters that got old".
